IVAN, HOW DID YOU GET YOUR START IN PORN?
I got started by emailing my pictures and aplications forms to different studios in America. All of them hired me and flew me from Spain to the States. I guess I'm very lucky since only 1% of aplicants through the Internet get actually hired. . . ! My very first movie was shot in February 2001.
WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE PORN SCENE YOU'VE BEEN IN?
Every porn scene and movie is different. I really can't choose that easy, and from one month to another my opinion might change, depending on a number of things. . . But in general, all the movies I shot for Kristen Bjorn were amazing, intense and unique. He's the only director in America, and possibly all throughout the world, who actually takes 4 or 5 whole days to shoot one single scene. . . As you guys can easily understand, that makes the difference when it comes to value your your own movies. Those particular scenes were indeed very special for me.
WHO HAS BEEN YOUR FAVORITE CO-STAR TO WORK WITH AND WHY?
I really don't have a favorite co-star, seriously. Fortunately I consider myself a very easygoing guy, and I think that's why I got along very well with 95% of them. . . But I should say, to honor the truth, that I do prefer to work with newcomers or guys who are not very burnt out yet. . . Because most of models without experience try to have a good time and do their best, everything is thrilling and interesting to them, so therefore they're easily very into their costars.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE PORN SCENE YOU HAVE NOTBEEN IN?
Alright, maybe this is going to sound kind of weird, but I barely watch gay porn anymore in order to have fun. I just do it to check out the quality of different studios, and only once in a while. . . It would be very difficult to explain here, and it'd take too long, but if I wanna, let's say, have fun I always rent a straight porn. The truth of the matter is many of those heterosexual porn movies turn me on a lot, and sometimes regardless technical values. . . Is it amazing. . . ? Regarding this issue, I've changed a lot ever since I was a young boy.
HOW WAS IT WORKING WITH LEGENDARY JOE GAGE FOR 110 IN TUCSON?
I liked the fact that Joe is very careful with the logic of his movies, with all the situations which lead up to the sex itself. Sometimes, if you do it right, that simple fact heats up your mood as a viewer, and when the actual sex comes along, you're already really into the guys, the situation, . . . and you enjoy the movie even more. His stories are well structured and shoots situations which are hot from a gay point of view, without dragging on the dialogue too long, and I think both things combined are very good for a porn movie.
IS THERE ANYBODY YOU HAVEN'T WORKED WITH THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO?
As I said before, nowadays I'm not into gay porn as a viewer, so I don't really know other porn models besides the ones I worked with. . . I don't even remember most of my costars' porn names. . . (I actually only know their real names, in most cases).

WHAT IS YOUR BACKGROUND, WHERE DO YOU HAIL FROM?
I'm a Spaniard which means in a way I'm a little Arab too. And I've got Italian ancestors as well. My family raised me in the catholic faith although I'm not a religious person anymore. . . (Too bad, because if you honestly believe in God and Heaven your daily problems shrink a lot — just in your mind though-). I got two University degrees (Economics and Business Administration) to please my mum and was teaching Macroeconomics and Differential Equations (Math) for five years to make a living. I was 23 when I started teaching. . . I couldn't take it anymore and I decided to change my life and escape away. The further the better, and that's one of the reason why I'm here now. I know, I know, . . . it's a boring life, no glamour, no adventure whatsoever, . . . disappointing!.

ANYTHING YOUR FANS SHOULD KNOW ABOUT YOU?
I already learned digital editing, lighting and camerawork. Actually I should be shooting my very first movie right now, but in the last minute I found out three of my models had already worked for other studios and I had to cancel the shooting since I wanted to shoot all the scenes in a raw, and two of them were already fucked up. A little bit dissapointed, but it's not a big deal. I guess six months sooner or later won't make any difference. When the right time comes along again, I'll make sure that situation doesn't happen again. . . I guess I'm learning the logistics of this businesss the hard way.
DO YOU HAVE ANY UPCOMING APPEARANCES OR NEW RELEASES WE SHOULD LOOK FOR?
In general, I don't do live shows or anything like that because it's just not me. I don't do anything in public involving sex or nudity. However once in a while I like to be booked to sign autographs and meet my fans.
As far as new releases, I don't pay that much attention, and I just make sure I get complimentary copies of my own movies, but I don't ask the studios the titles of my videos in advance. However I can tell you there are a few which will be coming out soon, I guess.
I think it's important to say that my porn career as a model is getting close to an end because I already worked for the best studios and directors with no exception, in my opinion. I love to perform, but it's time to move on and focus on producing my own high quality movies. That's my future, although meanwhile I'll perform in a few more videos to wrap up my career as a model and keep making money which will be used enterely in my production company. I'll change completely and upgrade my website once I'm set out to launch my very first DVD. Till then, I hope all my fans and porn viewers in general enjoy my current website which certainly has a very different purpose at this point.
