What's Up With Falcon?

The gay porn industry seems to be topsy-turvy right now, and it's really not clear how it's going to pan out.

Collin O'Neal is quitting porn because it is "boring" and more to the point, there is hardly any money to be made because of all the free porn online.

Personally I find the free porn online (XTube and Pornotube come to mind) kind of annoying since it takes an hour to find anything decent. But I guess if you aren't picky there's a lot to choose from.

Big studios like Falcon seem to be releasing fewer movies. COLT is being sued for non-payment of a large debt.

Michael Lucas of Lucas Entertainment seems to be trying every trick in the book to get attention or goose sales, like his infamous farting porn, and more recently, the scene from Wall Street he shot on a public subway in New York City. (It's the scene with Ben Andrews and Rafael Alencar.)

I assume that many small studios like PZP Productions have shut their doors without making a big announcement like Peter Z. Pan did. Most companies that go out of business don't say anything, they just disappear.

Anyway, Falcon has just released three new flicks—Burning Desires, XXX (from Mustang) and Road Trip Vol. 9: Lake Tahoe (from Jocks), so I guess they are doing all right.
