They only got four hours of sleep a night... they had to live in tents infested with bugs and flies. (Are flies not also bugs? Anyway...)
Porn star Brodie Sinclair alleges that he was told if he could not get hard, he should inject his penis with an erection-inducing drug. Ouch! (Not that that doesn't happen all the time in the porn industry, but still.)
The movie was Raging Stallion's Grunts, and though, in a way, it does sound oddly appropriate that a movie about military endeavors should require the stars to tough it out (just like real soliders!) the conditions as Brodie describes them sound over-the-top.
"I think if you treated real soldiers that way, it would practically be a violation of the Geneva Conventions," sez Brodie. Exaggeration? Or valid point? Should Raging Stallion be investigated by a war crimes tribunal?
If you listen to Brodie's co-star, Ricky Sinz, working with Brodie was not exactly a roll in the hay. Or, at least, not a very good roll in the hay. (As reported by Banana Guide):
brodie let’s get down to business you were not only one of the most worthless actors on the set every 5 minutes you had to get on your cell phone to look at straight porn to get hard ... you blew off a scene claiming your sick only to go to a hotel to bang some nasty prostitute and do drugs, and you have the nerve to say raging stallion dorsnt have their shit together ... I hope some day you change for the better but i see your future youll be broke, homeless, and strung out, before you try to come at me with your bs you better check yourself you junkie piece of shit[.]
Here is more on the subject. (Thanks to Fleshbot.)
Speaking of Grunts, here are some pics of Luke Haas (um, wow!) and other stars:
